Whiptail no more
The RH Fish Tank has unfortunately lost an interesting inhabitant, the Whiptail Catfish (previous post). It was found unmoving on the sponge of the powerhead, probably having died while at rest. Cause of death: unknown.
In the meantime there will not be new additions to the RH Fish Tank as the tank enters its maturing phase after the rescape.

sigh... it was a beautiful fish
i thought Whiptail Catfish are those that grow really huge? the one in the tank seems a little too small
Indeed it was beautiful.
The one that we got was a young one, young and small. It would've been able to grow to one foot, but still be graceful and peaceful in the RH Fish Tank.
We will probably get another after a few weeks when the tank gets more stable.
